We had a pretty view from our room. A 15-minute walk will take you to Pierhead Takeaway, where you can eat.

Very nice lodging with wonderful host/hostess. They gave us great advice on where to go and what to see. We took the train to Mallaig and had lunch in the pub they recommended. Comfy soft-backed sofa before a nice coal fire. Good folks with a great place!

All was exceptional.

Very comfortable beds, access to local gym facilities, breakfast choices, Cleanliness, off road parking and above all STAFF who really care about their guests. Fantastic.

Laurel Bank Lodge was very clean, the owners were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. There was an excellent standard of cleanliness in the room and in the communal areas. Breakfast was very good. Excellent facilities due to being able to use the local swimming pool and spa free of charge. Excellent value for money with the facilities they include in the price. Good location, within walking distance of the town centre and all local amenities. We will definitely stay there again and will recommend to friends.

The owners, Steven and Brenda are excellent hosts and todate this has been the best B&B on our trip. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding. I would definitely stay here again.

A fabulous Lodge in a fabulous place! Laurel Bank has a fabulous location overlooking the Loch within walking distance of the city centre. The owner (Stephen) is super friendly and helpful and really made us feel at home during our stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast, which is served on the first floor with views of the Loch, was tasty, hearty and varied. The Lodge is also a fantastic base from which to climb Ben Nevis. Fantastic place that I can't praise highly enough!
